Dr. Jane Liedtke, Founder and CEO (Chief Energy Officer) with daughter, Emily

Dr. Jane Liedtke serves full-time as CEO of OCDF. She also remains active in the business community in China as a Management Trainer and Consultant specializing in the development of Chinese managers to meet the challenges of modernization and change. She is often called upon to provide training and consulting services to executives and managers who are on assignment to China from US and European corporations. Jane enjoys sharing her knowledge of the challenges and opportunities in China, as well as educating others about Chinese culture and daily life.

Jane is also a single mother with a 14 year old daughter adopted from Jiangmen, China. Beginning in 1987, Jane traveled to and from China for both work and pleasure, for a total of some 15 trips, including leading several delegations and tours to China. She holds degrees from The College of New Jersey (B.S. and M.Ed. in industrial education and psychology) and Purdue University (Ph.D.) in industrial education and organizational psychology. She has experienced 25 countries and has lived in Germany and China (1992 and since 1998, respectively). Prior to moving back to China in 1998, she was a Professor at Illinois State University for 14 years, and while in China she was affiliated with Illinois State University and Southern Illinois University for 3 years. She has also taught at Oregon State University, Purdue University, University of Southern Maine, and Hightstown High School (NJ) over her 28-year career as an educator.
