OCDF's Chinese Culture Kits
Arts, Crafts, Games, Dance, & Music
Hands-on activities designed for ages K-8 as part of our Chinese Culture Active Learning Series. Each kit contains supplies for 10 children. Kids can learn how to make their own tangrams, do a ribbon dance, make a Tibetan longevity bracelet, make pole puppets, fold a paper jumping frog, make a kite, play the erhu (instrument included!), and lots more great activities. These kits include high-quality materials developed by Chinese artisans, as well as a teacher/parent introduction sheet to provide the history and background of the activity and student handouts. Ideal for classroom use, club activities, cultural heritage days, homeschooling, and birthday parties!
