OCDF Institute
OCDF Institute, a division of Our Chinese Daughters Foundation, provides educational programs related to China, Chinese culture and history, and travel to China. We bring key speakers from North America and China to provide high-quality learning experiences for program participants in a variety of venues.
Chinese Culture Learning Center
In 2006, OCDF Institute created the Chinese Culture Learning
Center in Bloomington, IL as a complement to OCDF’s offices and learning
programs in Beijing, China. The Chinese Culture Learning Center
includes a children’s arts & crafts area, a lending library, story-telling
area, and seminar & workshop space for adult and children’s programs.
OCDF’s Charity Gift Shop is also located at the Learning Center, and includes
traditional Chinese items of silk, silver, jade, and porcelain, as well as books,
toys and games, and clothing for children and adults.

We at OCDF Institute welcome the opportunity to speak at your scheduled events or programs, heritage days and culture camps, or local school or university. OCDF Institute invites you to explore China through our seminars and workshops for teachers and parents, as well as our “Learn & Play” programs designed especially for children. We hope you will find these options to be interesting and rewarding educational experiences for your learning commuity (home, schools, professional and youth clubs, church or temple, Chinese holiday events), family and friends (birthday parties, social gatherings, fundraisers), and adoption community (support groups and adoption workers).
