OCDF China Tours and 
Children's Hope International have teamed up to provide CHI families a unique opportunity to combine a guided homeland tour with volunteer work at Children's Hope International orphanages. OCDF, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has offices in the US and China, employing over 20 professional staff and 60 seasonal tour guides, who are trained annually in working with adoptive families and have First Aid and CPR certification and CNTA Licenses. OCDF has been providing group and customized homeland travel since 1998. Each tour itinerary includes a volunteer portion coordinated with CHI staff, and a portion of your tour fees are donated to support Children's Hope International orphanages.
- Our programs are family-centered, with activities for children and discussions for adults.
- Our goal is to provide an experience of China today as a society and culture, particularly in order to help adopted children form a positive self-image.
- We believe children should be prepared for their China travel, and so we provide parents with the tools and resources to plan for this important journey, and to help their children cope emotionally. Parents can form a broader view of China, and gain positive perspectives to pass on to their children as they grow up in a multi-cultural family.
- We experience China with an understanding and respect for Chinese people, and we only use experienced adoption and travel professionals who help us carefully plan our itineraries in order to provide a safe and enjoyable journey for your family.

Yes, you can visit your child's orphanage! This 14-day program focuses on kid-friendly sights, 4-star hotels, opportunity for family exploration time, special meals included, and evening entertainment. OCDF China Tours has arranged visits to over 200+ orphanages thus far, even some very remote locations and places not visited before by adoptive families. Let us put our experience to work in arranging your visit to your child's province and orphanage city, including the return visit to the orphanage itself. Two-week residential program for teens adopted from China and siblings in grades 7-12 (ages 12-18). Focus on leadership development, image-building/selfconfidence, community service, connecting to people in China. There will be small group leadership projects including volunteering on-site at Children’s Hope International’s Beijing orphan care location. Experience a homestay weekend with a Chinese family in Beijing!
