The OCDF China Tours Experience

Our family tours are designed specifically for adoptive Chinese children ages 4 and up accompanied by their parents, grandparents, family members, and friends. Our kid-friendly programs are filled with key cultural and historical sites throughout China. These are Chinese cultural programs, and are not adoption programs. Our OCDF China Tours programs will focus on the experience of families with Chinese heritage through adoption. For our 4 and 5-Star level programs, hotels have been selected that are suitable to family activity - with play grounds, swimming pools, parks, bowling, and other similar kid-oriented features.

Although these tours are not adoption programs, we encourage families who wish to plan their orphanage visit following their cultural trip. OCDF can assist you in combining an orphanage visit with a cultural tour. Contact jenny@ocdf.org to make arrangements.

Footage from an OCDF China Tours was recently featured on The China Chronicles, in an episode entitled Cleveland's China Connection. This episode includes a round-table discussion with parents discussing their experiences on returning to China with their adopted daughters (on an OCDF China Tours), and was produced by an Emmy award-winning producer, Tom Jacobs.

References? We can provide references from our OCDF China Tours Alumni - over 4,000 travelers to China! Email jane@ocdf.org and we will put you in touch with someone from your area, or someone who has traveled back to the same orphanage, or someone who traveled when their child was the same age as yours, etc. We are proud to have helped provide an amazing Chinese experience for so many families!
